Terms & Conditions of Service

Last Updated: August 2026

By submitting a quote request form or accepting an exterior cleaning booking with SouthernEcoWash, you agree to be legally bound by the following standard trading terms:

1. The Service & Pricing Quotes

All pricing quotes delivered via SMS or email are calculated based on the property dimensions, surface descriptions, and digital photographs provided by the client.

2. Rainwater Tanks & Water Supply Security

For properties relying on independent roof-collected rainwater tank systems, it is the client's strict responsibility to confirm their tank setup with our technician prior to the commencement of work.

3. Pre-Existing Property Damage & Structural Fragility

Our washing techniques utilize low-pressure soft-washing methods for delicate vertical building structures. However, high-volume commercial equipment is utilized for concrete flatwork.

4. Payment Terms & Overdue Accounts

Payment for all residential exterior cleaning packages is strictly due within 7 business days from the date of invoice issuance, unless a separate commercial arrangement has been confirmed in writing.

5. Booking Deposits, Cancellations & Rescheduling

A booking deposit may be required to secure or prioritise a service booking with Southern Eco Wash. Any deposit paid will be deducted from the final amount payable for the service.

Customers who need to cancel or reschedule are asked to provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

Where more than 48 hours’ notice is provided, the booking deposit may be transferred to a new appointment date.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may result in the booking deposit being forfeited.

If Southern Eco Wash arrives at the property and is unable to complete the service because access has not been provided, the customer is unavailable where attendance is required, or the property is not ready for the agreed work, the booking deposit may be forfeited.

If Southern Eco Wash needs to cancel or postpone a booking due to unsafe conditions, severe weather, equipment issues, illness, or other circumstances outside reasonable control, the customer may choose to have the deposit transferred to a new appointment date or refunded.

Any refund, transfer or forfeiture of a booking deposit will be handled reasonably and in accordance with applicable Australian Consumer Law.

That last sentence is worth keeping in there because it avoids wording the policy as if you can automatically keep money in every situation regardless of the circumstances.
